the move to the lagoon rooms was a definite highlight, i really liked the swim-up pool. afternoon tea was a good touch (the pastries were delicious). live music and fire dances created a vibrant atmosphere each evening.

mixed feelings on this stay

unreliable wi-fi electrical conduits
The location was decent. It was close to things but not too loud.
The promised high-speed wi-fi barely functioned. It was a struggle to even load basic webpages. also, the lack of drawers in the suite was inconvenient, it was hard to keep things organized. and the partial ocean view included a charming view of electrical conduits.

Very nice Stay!!!

beautiful resort accommodating staff infinity pool
This resort is SO beautiful and clean. The staff are accommodating. The infinity pool has a bar and views of the landscape, including sun loungers. I enjoyed free chocolate cake and a birthday message from the hotel. That was nice.
There were a LOT of cats around. They seemed to be 'owned' by the hotels and restaurants, maybe to keep rats away. They seemed to be fed somewhat.

the room was well-designed with comfortable amenities. the outdoor bathroom was a great feature. the hotel staff provided excellent, attentive service.
The wooden door to the pool did not feel entirely secure. i noticed many mosquitoes and small insects inside the room. the food options mainly included international cuisine. I was hoping for more indonesian choices.

Acceptable Stay. Several Issues Present

inadequate air conditioning disruptive outdoor bathroom
The air conditioning struggled to cool the room adequately. The outdoor bathroom meant sounds from adjacent rooms were easily heard. And I found this disruptive. These aspects need addressing to justify the hotel's rating.

Nice Stay at This Amazing Resort

ocean view blue horizon clean room
We check in on February 26, 2025. Our room faced the ocean, which gave amazing views of the blue horizon. The room stay very clean, it show the care the resort has for its guests. The furniture was set nicely and made good use of the space. The outdoor bathroom feel private and offered fresh air.
The main pool seems very small. I wish there a larger pool available for everyone, not just the guests in pool access rooms. This limit pool options, mostly if you want a big pool. This create disappointment because swimming is one of the best things to do in this place.
